The map
The world is split into Kingdoms 👑, Counties 🏰 and Fiefs 🚩 — every village has its own address.
Why do my troops take so long to arrive?
Every trip depends on the distance between the two fiefs and on the speed of your slowest unit. The farther the target (another County, another Kingdom) or the more heavy units you bring along, the longer it takes. A trip always lasts between 15 minutes and 6 hours: never less, never more.
How to read an address
- 👑The Kingdom is the largest division. There are 50 of them.
- 🏰Each Kingdom contains 50 Counties. That's the screen you browse with the arrows.
- 🚩Each County contains 15 Fiefs: that many spots where a village can exist.
- 📍An address is written [Kingdom:County:Fief], for example [3:12:7].
The rules to know
Colonize a new fief
- 🔭Spot a free fief in the County of your choice (empty tile on the map).
- 🧭Send a Settler to its coordinates: on arrival, it founds your outpost and is consumed.
- ↩️If someone takes the position before it arrives, your Settler turns back without founding anything.
Frequently asked questions
Is a distant Kingdom really out of reach?
No. The distance between Kingdoms is capped: beyond 4 hops, targeting a Kingdom very far away costs the same travel time as targeting a Kingdom 4 hops away. And in any case, no trip exceeds 6 hours.
How do I cut down my travel time?
Aim for a closer target (the same County preferably) and don't bring slow units if you don't need them: it's the slowest unit that sets the speed of the whole group.
What do the (i) and (I) marks next to a name mean?
They are inactivity tiers: (i) flags a lord absent for more than 7 days, (I) for more than 28 days — often easy targets. The map never shows the exact time of last login, only these tiers.
Can I attack any village on the map?
Not always. Newcomers (🛡️), lords on vacation (🌴) and players much weaker than you are protected. Barbarian camps 👹 and events 📦 stay attackable by everyone.
