The Workshop

A number-matching mini-game hidden inside your production buildings: combine the right ingots to hit the target before the heat fades, and harvest resources.

⚡ The question everyone asks

What do I get out of it, and does it replace my production?

Bonus resources, on top of your normal production. A good game is worth about 20 minutes of the building's passive production, at any level. The gain is never blocked by your warehouse capacity. One small catch: the yield drops with each game during the day, then goes back to full the next day.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my yield drop to 90%, then 81%…?

It's intentional. The first game of the day pays 100%, the next one a little less, and so on (about −10% each time). You always earn something, but it flattens out to protect the game's economy. Everything goes back to full power at midnight (Paris time).

What's the point of the ranking and the score?

Your score is your best streak of successful orders in a single game over the week. The score isn't capped: it's what places you on the Workshop ranking. The top player of the week receives 500 Gold, paid every Monday. The ranking resets every week.

If I close the game in the middle, do I lose everything?

No. All the orders you've already completed are credited when the heat fades or when you cash in. You can also click "Cash in" at any time to pocket what you've done.

Any tip to earn more?

The Academy's "Harvest" talent increases your Workshop gains (+6% per rank). Also think about leveling up your Sawmill, Quarry or Farm: the more the building produces, the more a game pays. On the other hand, vacation mode pauses the Workshop.
