The build queue
Stack several upgrades at once: they build one after another, even while you're offline.
Can I start several buildings at the same time?
You can queue up to 5 per village. They don't build in parallel: they run one after another. You pay for each level the moment you add it, then there's nothing left to do — the queue advances on its own, even with the game closed.
How it works
- ➕You click a building and start the upgrade. If a build is already running, the new one goes behind it.
- 💰The cost is paid right away, as soon as it's added to the queue — not when the build starts.
- ⛓️Each step targets a specific level. You can stack level 5 then 6 then 7 of the same building back to back.
- ⏳Finished builds are applied automatically, in order, even offline.

Frequently asked questions
If I cancel a build, do I get my resources back?
Yes, the full amount is refunded — a level never gets built halfway. Careful: if you cancel one step of a building, all the higher steps of the same building are cancelled along with it (otherwise a level would be missing), and those are refunded too. The builds that follow in the queue shift up to fill the gap.
Does the cost change if I wait before starting the build?
No. The price and the duration are calculated and locked the moment you add the step to the queue. The bonuses from the Master Builders' Workshop and the Grand Works Edict are taken into account exactly as they are at that instant: activating the Edict after the fact won't speed up a build that's already in the queue.
How do I build faster?
Two levers stack. The Master Builders' Workshop: the higher its level, the faster your builds go. The Royal Edict: Grand Works: it halves construction (and recruitment) times across all your villages for 7 days. Make sure they're active before you queue your big steps.
Is the queue shared across all my villages?
No. Each village (and each outpost) has its own queue of 5 builds. On an outpost, only the basic buildings are available: sawmill, quarry, farm, warehouse and barracks.
