The Caravan
The caravan doesn't fight: it's there to bring back as much loot as possible from your raids.
What is the caravan for?
To bring back more loot when you attack another player. Every unit you send has a carry capacity: that's what limits how much your army hauls home. The caravan is useless in combat (attack 5), but its 50,000 capacity is huge. You slip a few of them into your attack so you don't leave anything behind.
How it works
- 🏛️You unlock the caravan at Barracks level 4, then you recruit it like any other troop.
- ⚔️You add it to an attack, alongside your real combat troops.
- 🏆If the attack is victorious, the plundered loot is loaded into the total capacity of the surviving army.
- 🐎The caravan races along at 15,000 speed (as fast as a Horseman): it doesn't slow down your escort.

Frequently asked questions
Can a caravan win battles?
No, definitely not. With an attack of 5, it gets destroyed the moment it runs into a defense. Always send it escorted by real troops that win the fight; otherwise you lose it for nothing. And if it dies, its cargo dies with it.
Why is my loot smaller than my army's total capacity?
Because you only plunder 50% of the resources present at the target. If they have little in stock, you leave with little, even with ten caravans. Carry capacity is only an upper limit: it doesn't create resources.
Should I take caravans on an Incursion (PvE)?
Pointless. In Incursions, the loot is guaranteed and depends on your battle (your losses), not on your carry capacity. To grab more there, send a stronger army — not caravans.
How many caravans do you need for a raid?
Just enough to cover what you plan to steal. Aim for half of your target's visible stocks (use spying), divide by 50,000, and add a small margin. No need to overload: once the target is emptied, the rest of the capacity travels empty.
