Every day, the Phantom Caravan 👻 appears for two hours, at a time nobody knows in advance. Every lord can send caravans to bring back their share of its treasure.
What is the Phantom Caravan, and how do I make the most of it?
It's a spectral convoy loaded with wood, stone and wheat. When it appears, an announcement goes out in the chat and a badge lights up at the top of the screen. Click it, see your share in resources, and the game prepares the number of caravans needed to bring it back. Send them: no losses, no battle, and your share is yours.
How it works
- 👻The Phantom Caravan appears once a day, at a random time between 8 AM and 10 PM (Paris time), and stays for 2 hours.
- 📣Its appearance is announced in the chat. Clicking the announcement or the badge at the top of the screen opens its window.
- 🐂Only caravans and arcane caravans can go. The trip takes 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back, wherever your fief is.
- 💰Your caravans bring back your share, up to what they can carry. The loot is delivered to the departure fief when they return.
The rules to know
Your share grows with your kingdom
The Phantom Caravan isn't a race: every lord has their own share, based on their kingdom's production. A kingdom that produces a lot gets a big share, a young kingdom a share that fits its size: nobody empties anyone else's treasure. Some days, the caravan arrives richly laden and every share is bigger.
The window shows your share in resources and your caravans' capacity. If they aren't enough, you bring back what they can carry, split like your share. Remember to keep enough caravans at home for the next appearances.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose caravans?
No. There is no battle: all your caravans come home, loaded with your share.
Can I send my caravans several times?
No, one dispatch per appearance. Send enough caravans at once to bring everything back: the window prepares the right number for you.
Will my caravans arrive in time?
Yes, as long as you send them before the caravan leaves: a dispatch sent in time is always honored, even if it arrives after the caravan has left.
What if I recall my caravans on the way?
They turn back and come home empty, and your dispatch is cancelled: you can send caravans again while the Phantom Caravan is still there.
I don't have a caravan yet, can I take part?
Not yet: you need at least one caravan. You recruit it at the Barracks once the required research is unlocked.
