Protection & anti-farm
Embercraft keeps you safe when you're starting out, then stops you from being farmed by someone far stronger than you.
Can a big player come and crush me right from the start?
No. During your first 3 days, no one can attack you. And even after that, a lord whose power exceeds 5× yours simply isn't allowed to strike you as long as you remain a small player.
The newcomer shield
- 🛡️As soon as you create your domain, you're protected from attacks for 3 days. Use the time to build.
- 🕵️Spying, however, stays allowed both ways: people can scout you, and you can scout them. That's not an act of aggression.
- ⚔️If you launch an attack on another lord yourself, you give up your protection immediately, even before the 3 days are up.
The anti-farm rule
- ⚖️When the beginner shield drops, a second barrier takes over: you can't raid a player who is 5 times weaker than you.
- 🪶It protects small lords (below the score threshold) from being farmed on loop by an overwhelming neighbor.
- 🏹You can always attack someone stronger than you: aiming upward is always allowed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does my starting protection last?
3 full days from the moment you create your account. As long as the shield is active, no enemy army can reach your domain.
I'm still protected but I want to attack. Is that possible?
Yes, but be aware that launching an offensive ends your protection on the spot. You become a legitimate target in turn. It's up to you to judge whether you're ready.
Can a huge player still farm me after my 3 days?
No, not as long as you remain a small lord: if they're more than 5 times stronger than you, the game denies them the attack. Anti-farm protection is permanent — it doesn't depend on the age of your account.
Why can I be spied on while I'm protected?
Spying is surveillance, not an act of aggression: it costs you nothing and destroys nothing. You even get a named alert every time a lord spies on you.
