The Lords’ Trading Post

The Trading Post connects lords who want to exchange resources or sell troops. Each offer lists the goods available and the resources requested in return.

How is it different from the Royal Merchant?

The Royal Merchant completes an immediate exchange at the displayed rates. At the Trading Post, you choose another player’s offer or publish your own, then wait for delivery once a contract is agreed.

Find and accept an offer

  1. Open the Trading Post in the Market. Filter by resources or troops and compare quantities and prices.
  2. Choose how much to buy within the offer’s limits. Some offers can be filled through several purchases.
  3. Review what you pay, what you receive after Trading Post fees, the destination fief and the estimated arrival.
  4. Confirm the contract and follow delivery in History. Goods still in transit are not yet available to use.

Publish and manage offers

Choose a resource or troop to offer, its total quantity and the resource you want in return. Colonists cannot be sold. The requested price is the total for the offer, so also check the unit price.

The Trading Post displays the minimum and maximum price of each troop lot in the requested resource. Stay within these limits when publishing or editing an offer. Resource trade prices remain free.

An offer stays visible for seven days. You can edit its price or remaining quantity, renewing its duration, or withdraw it from My Offers.

Offered goods remain usable in your fief before sale. A mission, purchase or garrison loss may reduce what is available. A listing is not a guaranteed delivery until a contract has been agreed.

Fees, transport and receipt

The Trading Post charges the fees shown in the summary. Compare the net amount received, not just the listed gross price. Partial purchases can cause small differences in the final total.

In resource trades, both parties hand over goods when the contract is agreed, and deliveries follow the announced timing. Troop contracts have their own delivery. Check History and the delivery message to see what has arrived.

The Trading Post is closed in vacation mode. You also cannot buy your own offer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use purchased troops immediately?

No. They arrive after the displayed delivery time. Do not plan a departure using troops that are still in transit.

An offer changed before I confirmed. What should I do?

Refresh the list and review the updated summary. Another player may have bought part of the offer, or the seller’s available stock may have changed.
