Movement & distances
Every dispatch takes some time to arrive: it depends on the distance and on your slowest troop.
Why is my attack taking so long?
Two things matter: the distance to the target and the slowest troop in your army. A Titan or a Royal Mage drags everyone down; Cavalry races ahead. And no matter what, a trip lasts at least 15 minutes and at most 6 hours.
How distance is calculated
Every position on the map reads as [Kingdom : County : Fief]. The distance adds up three gaps, from the heaviest to the lightest:
- 🌍Changing Kingdom is very expensive: 300 points per kingdom of difference (and it's capped at 4, so never more than 1,200).
- 🗺️Changing County costs 15 points per county of difference.
- 📍Changing Fief (a neighbor within the same county) costs 1 point per position.
Simple takeaway: targeting a neighbor in your own county is almost instant (so it gets capped at 15 min), whereas attacking another kingdom is always very long.
How travel time is calculated
- 📏We start from the distance calculated above.
- 🐌We look at the speed of the slowest troop sent: that's what sets the pace for the whole group.
- ⏱️The faster the troop, the shorter the trip. The result is then clamped between 15 min and 6 h.
- ↩️The return trip lasts as long as the outbound one (recalculated on the survivors).

Frequently asked questions
How do I make my army arrive faster?
Don't bring a slow unit. The group's speed is that of the slowest troop: a single Titan or Royal Mage slows down the whole army. To charge in, send Cavalry. The "March" talent from the Academy can also speed up your attacks.
Why does even a close neighbor take 15 minutes?
That's the guaranteed minimum: no trip can drop below 15 minutes, even between two adjacent fiefs. Conversely, no trip exceeds 6 hours, even to the far side of the map.
Does spying follow the same rule?
No. A spy always arrives in 60 seconds, no matter the distance. PvE incursions also have fixed durations: 15, 25 or 40 minutes depending on the camp's difficulty.
Does resource transport move as fast as my troops?
The resource convoy travels at a fixed reference pace and respects the same bounds (15 min to 6 h) depending on the distance. To haul a lot of loot with a fast escort, the Caravan remains the speediest option.
