A Tribal Wars alternativeBuild, Raid, Conquer. The Free Tribal Wars Alternative.
If you love grinding a village into an empire and leading your tribe to war, Embercraft gives you that same medieval strategy depth, free and straight in your browser.
Play for free →Tribal Wars built its name on villages, armies and shared-map raids. Embercraft keeps everything that makes that loop addictive, then adds guaranteed-loot PvE, real fair-play rules and zero pay-to-win, all running in your browser with nothing to download on PC or mobile.
Who is Embercraft for?
It's for Tribal Wars players who love deep village-and-army strategy and shared-map conquest, but want a game that's free, needs no download, respects your time with guaranteed-loot PvE, and never lets anyone pay for power. If you enjoy games like Tribal Wars, OGame or Travian and you're tired of pay-to-win and getting farmed by stronger players, Embercraft is built for you.
Everything you already love
You'll feel right at home. Grow a medieval village by producing wood, stone and wheat, even while you're offline. Develop your buildings, recruit an army that scales from the humble Guard all the way to the mighty Titan, and raise defenses. Then step onto a shared world map to scout enemies, launch attacks, transport resources and colonize outposts. The core strategy loop is all here.
What Embercraft adds
Hate logging in to a flattened village? Embercraft leans hard into progression you control. A hero rides out on expeditions and returns with loot and gear. PvE incursion camps pay guaranteed loot, so you can advance steadily without ever depending on PvP. Guilds bring a shared bank, chat and coordinated assaults, while a three-path talent Academy and research tree let you specialize your strategy.
Fair-play, no pay-to-win
This is the big one. Embercraft is 100% free, and the shop only ever sells convenience, never power, so nobody buys their way to the top. New players get a three-day protection shield, you can't attack someone far weaker than you, and daily attack caps stop anyone from being farmed into oblivion. The map stays competitive, and skill decides who wins.
